This season of works will be an opportunity to showcase the diversity in our movement interests and range of abilities with you. Our eight choreographers are Aimee Schollum, Angela Dexter, Chris Chua, Emma Riches, Georgina Bond, Jaala Jensen, Jacinta Martorella and Leandra Osmond.

YW2 has launched a Pozible campaign to support the project. PILOT is self funded so without the support from you the collective will not be able to present the work in June.

Dancenorth Workshop in Melbourne!

Yellow Wheel is very excited to offer a workshop with Josh Mu and Samantha Hines from Dancenorth, while they visit Melbourne on tour with the company's latest work, Attractor. This is the only public workshop opportunity Dancenorth will be offering in Melbourne!

The workshop will begin with a class based on methodologies designed to attain strength through fluidity whilst harnessing the intrinsic support system for efficiency, balance and power.

Josh and Samantha will share repertoire from Dancenorth’s latest work Attractor, a co-production with Lucy Guerin Inc choreographed by renowned choreographers Lucy Guerin and Gideon Obarzanek. Together you will explore improvisational structures derived from momentum, evolution and surrender as well as learn phrase material connecting texture and rhythmical sequencing with detailed virtuosity. This is a unique opportunity to gain insight into the rich artistic culture of Dancenorth whilst experiencing choreographic processes from Lucy Guerin and Gideon Obarzanek’s latest creation, Attractor.

Thursday February 23rd
